MIAMI -- Dwyane Wade has made his choice. Ryan Anderson Jersey . Chris Bosh is still mulling his. Either way, free agency for the Miami Heat is shaping up as an absolute circus. Wade told the Heat on Saturday that he is opting out of the final two years and nearly $42 million in his contract, and will become a free agent on Tuesday -- the same decision that LeBron James revealed earlier in the week. Also Saturday, Udonis Haslem told the Heat that he will not pick up his $4.6 million option for next season. But Bosh is still weighing his options, agent Henry Thomas told The Associated Press, after a miscommunication earlier in the day suggested that the forward was already sold on the idea of opting out. "Chris has not decided yet," Thomas told AP early Saturday evening. Strange as it may sound, the decisions by James and now Wade and Haslem are considered good for the Heat, since those three moves alone free up about $45 million in what would have been salary Miami was committed to paying next season. If Bosh opts out, that figure goes to $66 million, and the idea of not having that locked into the books gives Miami tons of flexibility to lure their stars back into new deals -- plus have enough money left over to make additional roster upgrades. "Today we were notified of Dwyanes intention to opt-out of his contract and Udonis intention to not opt into his contract, making both players free agents," Heat President Pat Riley said. "Dwyane has been the cornerstone of our organization for over a decade, and we hope he remains a part of the Heat family for life. Udonis has been the heartbeat of this team for 11 years. He has sacrificed countless times to make this organization successful, and he is the epitome of what this organization stands for. "We look forward to meeting with Dwyane and Udonis and their agent in the coming days to discuss our future together." So now, all eyes turn to Bosh, who was part of the much-celebrated move Miami made four years ago to team up with James and Wade with the Heat. Theyve been together for four years, and have been to the NBA Finals in each, winning the title twice. "We want this to work out and I think well find a way to get it done," Bosh told The Associated Press shortly after the Heat fell in the NBA Finals earlier this month to the San Antonio Spurs. Haslem expressed the same sentiment. "We all want the same thing around here," Haslem said at the end of the season. Regardless of what Bosh decides, midnight Tuesday -- the start of free agent frenzy -- will be busy for Miami. James and Wade could be wooed by plenty of suitors. James has already been mentioned as a target of the Los Angeles Clippers, the Chicago Bulls, the Houston Rockets -- and, of course, the Cleveland Cavaliers, the team for whom he spent his first seven seasons. But things are already looking good for Miami, which got the rights to former Connecticut guard Shabazz Napier on draft night -- and Napier just happened to be James favourite player in the draft. Wade, James and Bosh all had deals with an option to become free agents either this summer or next. Theres obviously no guarantee that all or any would return to the Heat now, but its also hard to envision all three going their separate ways after making four trips to the NBA Finals together and winning two championships. "Weve got a lot of room for flexibility," Riley said as the off-season was starting. "There is a tremendous amount of flexibility depending on what happens. Were ready. Now, do I feel any pressure? No, I dont. I dont feel any pressure at all. Im going to do the best job that I can do and we will all do the best job we can do. I dont think we have to recruit Chris and LeBron and Dwyane again. "Im not dropping championship rings on the table for those guys," Riley added, referring to his famous recruiting trick from 2010. "They can drop their own." Wade took a considerable amount of criticism this past season, first for missing 28 regular-season games -- largely because of what the Heat called a maintenance program for his long-problematic knees -- and then for struggling in the NBA Finals. Wade averaged 24.3 points in his first 11 seasons and is unquestionably the most accomplished player in Heat history, leading the franchises all-time lists in several categories. Riley calls Wade "an icon" and remains sold on his value to a championship team, though acknowledges that at 32 and with plenty of injuries in his past, some continued evolution to his game -- and perhaps his role -- could be needed. "He does have pain but he doesnt have the debilitating injury that could end his career," Riley said. Steve Francis Jersey . The Oilers will try to get back in the win column on Monday when they continue a four-game road trip with a battle against the Buffalo Sabres. Edmonton won its third straight game last Wednesday against visiting San Jose, beating the Sharks 3-0 as Scrivens stopped 59 shots to set an NHL record for saves in a regular-season shutout. On Saturday, the paths of Drew Tate and Kevin Glenn cross again as opposing quarterbacks.LOS ANGELES -- Jordan Hill barely played for coach Mike DAntoni when they were together with the New York Knicks four years ago, and he started this season on DAntonis bench again with the Los Angeles Lakers. Hill has quickly made it impossible for DAntoni to keep him off the court while the Lakers chase wins without Kobe Bryant. Hill had career highs of 24 points and 17 rebounds, and Jodie Meeks and Nick Young scored 19 points apiece in the Lakers 114-99 victory over the Detroit Pistons on Sunday night. Steve Blake had nine points and 16 assists for the Lakers, who made a late surge for just their second victory in six games. Los Angeles scored 16 consecutive points in a rally spanning the third and fourth quarters, holding Detroit without a field goal for more than five minutes. Hill extended his impressive start to the season with another high-energy effort down low. Five days after moving into the starting lineup and promptly hitting his career high with 21 points against New Orleans, Hill surpassed that mark and his previous best rebounding game with relentless work against the Pistons imposing front line. "I get more confidence every time I step on the floor," said Hill, who washed out in New York and Houston before hitting his NBA stride with the Lakers over the past two seasons. "We dont have Steve Nash. We dont have Kobe. Weve got guys that we know have to step up. Were banding together as a team." Los Angeles scored the final 10 points of the third quarter, taking a 79-71 lead into the fourth on consecutive 3-pointers by Young and a buzzer-beating turnaround jumper by Jordan Farmar. Strong playmaking by Blake and Farmar catalyzed the rally, which continued with the first six points of the fourth. "Its going to take that type of effort to win games," said Pau Gasol, who had 12 points, nine rebounds and seven assists. "We need everybody to chip in and play well." Detroit missed six field-goal attempts and three free throws during the Lakers rally. Los Angeles stretched its lead to 106-87 on Meeks 3-pointer with 3:26 to play, building a lead too big to be threatened by Brandon Jennings four consecutive 3-pointers late. DAntoni began the season with Shawne Williams -- another former New York forward -- in the lineup alongside Gasol. Hill took over the starting spot, but he also excels when the Lakers go small, using Hill in Gasols place as their nominal centre. "Hes playing as hard as he can play," DAntoni said. "Hes got talent, and hes getting better. ... I thinkk hes just more confident and more everything -- and more minutes. PJ Tucker Jersey. " Jennings scored 23 points and Andre Drummond had 14 points and 13 rebounds for the Pistons, who have lost five of six. Greg Monroe had 17 points and seven rebounds for Detroit, which has lost 38 of its past 40 road games against Western Conference teams. Josh Smith scored 18 for the Pistons, who went 1-3 on their four-game West Coast road swing. Playing without injured guards Will Bynum and Chauncey Billups, Detroit got 16 points off the bench from Rodney Stuckey, but struggled offensively midway through the second half of an otherwise even game. "We knew going into the game that they would spread the floor with the 3-point shooting," Detroit coach Maurice Cheeks said. "They got some pick-and-rolls that had some guys diving to the rim, and that opened up the 3-point shooting. We had some chances to score and missed some easy shots and some foul shots, and they were able to extend their lead." Detroit made more than 62 per cent of its shots and led for most of an uneventful first half that was punctuated by Jennings lob pass off the backboard to Drummond for a rim-shaking dunk late in the second quarter. "It was like playing against a clone of myself," Drummond said of his matchup with Hill. "I stopped moving, and he got the offensive rebounds because he was constantly moving and grinding the whole game. He runs around and plays hard. He played a hell of a game." After playing 12 games in 20 days to open the regular season, the Lakers get the next four days off to recover. Theyll probably practice with Bryant, who returned Saturday for his first workout with his teammates since tearing his Achilles tendon in April. Bryant still hasnt given a timetable for his return to the court. DAntoni again advised patience Sunday, saying the fourth-leading scorer in NBA history still will miss "a bunch" more games, likely not returning before Thanksgiving. The Lakers also dont know when Nash will return from nerve root irritation, although the two-time MVP point guard will be examined this week. NOTES: Billups missed his second straight game with knee tendinitis. Bynum sat out with a strained hamstring. ... Both teams wore alternate jerseys, with the Lakers in their Sunday whites and the Pistons in their blue "Motor City" jerseys. ... Pistons owner Tom Gores watched the game from a seat next to the Detroit bench. Gores, a private equity investor, lives and works in Beverly Hills.
